DJs and Producers

Alxndr

Alxndr likes unicorns, bubble-stickers and fireflies. His favorite quote is, “Only time will tell if we stand the test of time.” If he had a puppy he’d name it Sergio. He likes long walks on the beach and longer walks in the mountains. Download Alxndr’s mixes.

benchun

After learning to swim at a young age, benchun has always loved water. In the late 1990s he underwent residential treatment for some problems with progressive trance, but claims to be completely clean today. Download benchun’s music.

DJJD‘s first experiments in sound began in childhood, sampling static’s crackle into his SK-8 with a bare wire on the warm TV screen, and methodically dismantling a huge console speaker to find out exactly what was making all the sound. Of course, some answers only lead to more questions… Download DJJD’s mixes.

Dr. Toast

In addition to being the world’s foremost authority on toast, Dr. Toast also composes downtempo electronic music. Think head-nodding beats and somniferous melodic textures, plus bass explorations of nearby planets. The term “slamming midtempo” has been used. Download Dr. Toast’s music.

Kid Kameleon

Kid Kameleon is DJ, promoter, writer, blogger, historian, archivist, and fan of electronic music. He’s written for XLR8R magazine and similar publications on the topic of bass music (whatever that means). He’s played in a couple dozen countries a fair number of times over the last decade His performances are eclectic and flamboyant, and he believes in the DJ’s unique ability to be both a curator and narrator. He plays everything (really!) but especially loves things that are post – as in post-dub, post-dubstep, post-hip hop, post-footwork, etc. Plus he really likes all Jamaican music. Obj-J is a legend in his own time. Originally gaining fame as a member of the Las Vegas band TAPESTRY, he now regularly holds down dancefloors around the world. Download Obi-J’s mixes.

Shipwrek

The one called Shipwrek has adopted an esoteric spiritual practice that does not allow him to sleep or eat. Now the he has a subwoofer in his studio, we hardly ever see him practicing badminton anymore. Download Shipwrek’s music.

Tinker

Using Ableton to record and transform original sound samples from her travels, Tinker‘s sound is beat driven, down to mid-tempo, experimental, glitchy, melodic, and above all tinkery! Along with performing her original tracks live, she spins an eclectic mix of instrumental hip hop, melodic downtempo, 8-bit, blip-hop, dubstep, and skweee. Download Tinker’s mixes.
