An internal report released today by the False Profit Social Experiment research group contains clear evidence that life in San Francisco does in fact continue normally during the week of the Burning Man festival. At least three DJs from the group were observed in the greater Bay Area during the time formerly thought to be part of their mandatory annual migration pattern. With most festival-goers returning this coming week it will be difficult to validate these results, but researchers say that dust-free laptops and lack of sunburn or other minor injuries are key indications that someone previously thought to be part of your social circle has not attended Burning Man.
